In 2016, we had not one, but (WHAT!?!) two weddings featured in Martha Stewart Weddings. We spent 16+ months planning this wedding with the bride, Britt, her mom, Julie, their planner, and their wedding designer. A happy day and happy bride are payoff enough, but this wedding was also featured in the Fall 2016 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
We’re excited to finally share all the details!
Inspiration: Midwestern Boho
Ceremony and Reception Floral: Ceremony and reception floral aligned to separate color palettes. Reception floral and design was influenced by Dutch still-life paintings.
Bridal Bouquet: Subtle colors and lots of flowers. We used over 20 different types of flowers and foliages in this one design alone.
One Thing We Loved: Often, brides will pick one color palette and incorporate it throughout their entire event. The separate but complementary color palettes in this wedding really gave each setting its own visual character.
