As you can imagine, we go to a lot of weddings each year. Most of that time we’re behind the scenes, either before or after the ceremony and reception. What’s funny is, until the photos come out, we have no idea how everything looks when the wedding is in full swing.
For this wedding, though, that’s wasn’t the case.
This past summer, MR owner and creative director, Jackie, got to design the wedding floral AND be Matron of Honor for her sister Kristin’s wedding.
Once the hustle of designing the floral was over, Jackie got to slip on her bridesmaid’s dress and join the wedding.
Inspiration: Classic and modern designs in shades of Kristin’s forever-favorite color: purple.
Ceremony and Reception Floral: Petal-forward blooms, minimal greenery, subtle texture.
Bridal Bouquet: Petite, modern, romantic.
One Thing We Loved: We loved the floral freedom Kristin entrusted to us. We were able to use a few unconventional things we don’t always use (figs on the stem and fancy orchids), over 15 different varieties of roses, and a bunch of locally grown product from our super awesome growers.
